The ECB Safeguarding team due to government restrictions have put in place immediate changes that are listed below:
Training
- All Safe Hands courses are cancelled. An interim training package will be introduced in due course and details will be sent through to your County Welfare Officers.
- We will ensure it is accessible and provide the knowledge required to keep clubs safe for all.
- Further details on Safeguarding Children courses will be available soon.
- On going Safeguarding support is available through your County Welfare Officers and the ECB.
DBS Checks
ECB has made changes to the standard practice:
Anyone requested to submit an overseas certificate of good conduct, will be asked to email to dbs@ecb.co.uk rather than posting it.
Access for ID verification has been restricted to the top levels of access:
ECB Staff / Regional Users / Primary County-Wide Users/Secondary County-Wide users.
